Science: Complete the science data organizer sheet for the ice cube lab use the note sheet from class. Include your original hypothesis with (if... then.... because.....).

Today in class:

Language Arts; We read the next chapter of the Revealers. We are comparing Hunt Middle School to Parkland Middle School. The good news is that the students seem to have a lot of pride for our school even though they have been here less than a month!

Math: We worked on finding (x,y) coordinates on a plane.

Social Studies: We worked on latitude and longitude today. There was a lot of confusion about w/e vs. n/s. It can be tricky reading a map.

Science: Today we did a lab involving salt water and fresh water. Students observed dyed ice cubes melting and noticed many interesting things. Most students predicted that the ice in salt water would melt faster but soon discovered they were wrong. They should complete the lab sheet tonight.
